Dr. Cory McClung
Completed his business studies at the University of Alberta graduating with distinction in 2010, followed by his optometry studies at the University of Waterloo School graduating with honors in 2014. Since that time he has enjoyed a balanced life of helping patients with their visual and ocular health needs as well as spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Cory has and interest in ocular disease, pediatric optometry and low vision examinations; he also enjoys giving back to community by volunteering regularly at the Canadian National Institute of the Blind in providing low vision examinations, allowing many in Medicine Hat to once again read, write & continue their life hobbies through the use of magnifiers and other low vision aids.
Personally he enjoys dancing the Lindy Hop with his wife, playing the piano, organ, synthesizer, percussion and guitar; he enjoys listening to, writing, and recording music. He also has been known to enjoy the occasional Nerf gun war with his children. Dr. Cory has enjoyed being a member of the 20/20 team for the past several years and is excited to continue to help Medicine Hat with their vision care needs into the future.
